What is the latest time we can expect to leave?

Registration ends at 8:00 pm. Once the guests who have registered by 8:00 are separated into tribes and make their way through the trail, volunteers and cast may leave. The specific times will depend upon how many guests arrive each night. Please check with the leader of your ministry for specific times when you may be done for the night.

Is there childcare available?

Childcare will not be provided for volunteers. We encourage families with small children to consider the needs of their family when volunteering for The Journey. We do have child friendly areas for families to volunteer in, but they must be accompanied by their parents. For more information about kid friendly volunteer positions, please check out the Journey Job descriptions on our website www.sccjourney.com

Can children and youth volunteer?

Children and youth can volunteer, however, all children must be accompanied by an adult. There are specific areas where JR. and SR. high students can participate.

Do I take my costume home each night? Do I wash it before returning it?

Our costume department can not provide costumes for volunteers to take home each night due to the rotation of volunteers during the week. Please allow time each night to check out a costume and help our costume volunteers by returning your costume each night to the rack where you got it from.

Will there be food available?

We have a Crock Pot Ministry which will provide a hot cup of soup or chili for our volunteers each night.

Where should the cast and crew park?

Cast & Crew parking is available at SepCo on Little Neck Road. Shuttles will be available to transport cast and crew to and from the church.
