How long is the Journey (from sign-in to leaving)?

This year we are offering registration at the Main Lobby and at the Link to cut down on the wait times for guests. Visitors can probably expect to be here roughly an hour and a half from registration to completion of the Journey depending on the number of guests on campus.

What should I wear to the Journey?

Since the bulk of your time on our campus will be spent outside on the Journey trails, guests should dress with the winter weather in mind.

Is there much walking? Is the ground uneven?

The Journey will be on a cleared path through the woods surrounding the lake. The path is roughly 3/10 of a mile and can be a bit uneven in certain places.

What if I need special assistance?

We have special needs parking areas designated: handicapped accessible, seniors, and first-time visitors. All of the spaces are located close to the main entrance. In order to better accommodate our special needs guests, we ask that groups or individuals needing assistance contact Yvonne Fowler at 629-4720 to make arrangements.

Will I be in the same tribe as my family member with special needs?

Since space on these trams is limited, we will try to allow at least one family member to ride with each special needs guest and the rest of the family will be in a tribe immediately following that tribe.

Are you having a Spanish Journey this year?

Thursday nights are our Spanish tour nights. We will have two Spanish tribes, then three English tribes. We have an amazing couple who will be our Spanish Mary and Joseph- all Spanish guests need to register at the LINK. For info about the Journey in Spanish, people may call 629-4708 or visit our Spanish page.

How much do tickets cost? Is there a maximum charge per family?

Tickets are $5 per person and are available at The Source Bookstore or online at our website. Children 5 and under are free and no family pays more than $20.

Will I be able to purchase something to eat or drink when I arrive?

There is a coffee bar in the main building that will be open for guests to buy assorted coffee drinks, pastries and snacks as well as hot dogs, chips and sodas.

Is there child care available?

There is no childcare provided. However, The Journey is designed for families and children old enough to stand and walk the trail will have the best experience. Strollers are not encouraged due to the outdoor trail.

Where should visitors park?

Parking teams will be posted at various locations across the campus to ensure a smooth, orderly traffic flow in and out of our lots. Park in spaces closest in proximity to where you will be entering and exiting the building. Directions to our campus can be found here.
